This summer we are excited to be partnering AGAIN with S.L.A.M. (Students Learning About Missions) Trips for a cross-cultural service and learning trip within an indigenous paradigm! We will spend several days in the Yakama Reservation, which lies along the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountain Range and the Yakima River in south-central Washington; our time there will focus on service projects, spiritual formation and cultural immersion. We are thrilled about this opportunity to build our community, continue learning about the culture of the people there, and further develop our heart’s as servants, individually and collectively. WHO: Current 5th-12th grade youth
WHEN: Sunday, July 28 – Friday, August 2
WHERE: All Nations Center in Wapato, WA
HOW MUCH: $700 per participant
(group fundraising required, individual fundraising optional)

REGISTRATION

• Registration opens March 1, 2024; registration closes on May 31, 2024.
• Space is limited.
• Complete the REGISTRATION FORM and submit a $50 deposit.

COMMITMENT

• Youth and Parents/Caregivers attend ONE Informational Meeting
  • March 17 from 4-5pm at First Presbyterian Church (prior to MYC Youth Group)
  • March 19 from 6-7pm on Zoom
•   Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser on Saturday, May 11
•   Training Session on Saturday, June 8 (includes a meeting with parents/caregivers)
•   Commissioning Service on Sunday, July 28
•   Debrief Meeting and Celebration Gathering on Sunday, August 4
