Embrace the Mystery of Holy Week

Maundy Thursday

March 28, 6:30pm – Soup, Silence, Stations & Songs
We’ll gather for a meal as friends, in memory of Jesus’ last meal with his friends, and consider what it means to belong to one another and to journey together. Come to the Social Hall for a simple supper (bring soup or bread to share, if you can), and a time of singing, silence, prayers, and optional footwashing.

good Friday

March 29, 5-9pm – Foot Care Clinic at the Shelter
We move from the meditation of Maundy Thursday to the action of Good Friday, offering support to those walking difficult journeys through a foot clinic held in conjunction with the shelter. Email erika@fbcmac.org to sign up for a one-hour shift between 5 and 9pm to welcome guests and distribute foot care supplies.

Easter

Sunday, March 31 – 10am Worship + Light Brunch Following
On Easter, we will gather for a music- and joy-filled celebration of the mystery of love stronger than death, the good news that God’s love is alive forever. Come at 9:30am with cut blooms to help decorate the flower cross. Stay after for a yummy brunch from the Social Team. In between, join the worship service where we will hear the stories and sing the songs of resurrection. If you’d like to donate lilies or other spring flowers to beautify our sanctuary, please bring them to the office Wednesday or Thursday between 9am and noon. And on Easter morning, bring friends and family with you to church! All are welcome, always.
