SPRING STORY NIGHT in the FBC Fireplace Room
Saturday, April 18, 7pm
THEME: Blooming
Prepare a five-minute story about blooming. Interpret that however you like, or consider these prompts to get you started:
When did you feel fully alive – growing up through the dirt, reaching toward the sun, flowers blossoming as you bravely embraced your truest self? How have you nurtured others – plants, people, groups – in their growth and becoming? What struggles did you meet along the way? What encouraged the new growth? Did your garden ever produce something that surprised you? Did the beauty of your background ever transport you? Did digging in the dirt cause you to do some other sorts of digging, too? Did a gorgeous flowering ever fade too fast?
Prepare a story that is true, centered on one specific experience, and yours to tell. Then come to FBC’s Spring “Tell About It” Story Night to share it with a circle of friends, to listen to other stories, and deepen connections. You are welcome to come just to listen as well.
