The Building and Grounds Supervisor role at FBC is Ron’s retirement gig, after 27 years as a chaplain at five different prisons in three different states. The last nine years, he served at the Federal Corrections Institute in Sheridan, Oregon. Retired 7 years ago after working at 5 different prisons in 3 states as a Chaplain. He’s been at FBC for more than a decade.
He is the youngest of five children, raised on a farm near Kewanee, Illinois. He gets up really early on his days off and heads out on a nearby river, hoping to catch a fish, or at least enjoy the peace.
