This summer we are excited to be partnering with S.L.A.M. (Students Learning About Missions) Trips for a cross-cultural service and learning trip within an indigenous paradigm. We will spend several days in the Yakama Reservation, which lies along the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountain Range and the Yakima River in south-central Washington; our time there will focus on service projects, spiritual formation and cultural immersion. WHO: Current 5th-12th grade youth
WHEN: Sunday, July 23 – Friday, July 28
WHERE: All Nations Center in Wapato, WA
HOW MUCH: TBD – the hope is $600-$700 per participant
(group fundraising required, individual fundraising optional)

REGISTRATION

• Registration opens March 1, 2023; registration closes on May 31, 2023.
• Limited to 20 youth participants.
• Complete the registration form AND submit a $50 deposit.

COMMITMENT

• Youth and Parents/Caregivers attend ONE Informational Meeting
  • March 5 from 4-5pm at First Presbyterian Church (prior to Youth Group)
  • March 8 from 6-7pm on Zoom
• Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser on Saturday, May 20
• Training Session on Saturday, June 3 (includes a meeting with parents/caregivers)
• Commissioning Service on Sunday, July 23
• Debrief Meeting and Celebration Gathering on Sunday, July 30
