Financial update:

Great News = April giving was very generous bringing our FBC general fund back to 100% funded. These are uncertain times and we are being cautiously optimistic. Our Missions Ministry Team has offered to hold back some funding to help meet budgetary challenges. During the Church Board May meeting, we agreed to move forward with our missions spending on a month-to-month basis. If our net income decreases, we are prepared to reserve some funding in order to make payroll and cover other bills. Staff and lay leaders are really encouraged by your giving commitments. There are other areas in our budget where expenditures have been a bit lower than anticipated. We feel God’s spirit at work among us and are very thankful.

Once again, you can mail your contributions to the church, use a bill pay service via your bank/retirement accounts and/or use our online giving feature. Please go to fbcmac.org/give. Use the drop down box to select the fund. It is safe and secure. If your gift is for FBC’s general operating fund, select the first option –  2020 Estimate of Giving line.
