FALL STORY NIGHT in the FBC Fireplace Room

THEME: Back to School

Prepare a five-minute story about going back to school. Consider:

Were you captivated by the thrill of learning something new? Worn down by the drudgery, the monotony of the routine? Did you live for the adventure of the monkey bars at recess? Do you remember your favorite cafeteria lunch? Your worst first-day outfit? Being locked outside after the bell rang? Moving into your college dorm?  A teacher who stuck their neck out for you? A detention you didn’t deserve? Not being able to afford the supply list? What drew you to your line of study, and what distracted you from it? What internship or line of inquiry made a difference for you? 

Prepare a story that is true, centered on one specific experience, and yours to tell. Then come to FBC’s Fall “Tell About It” Story Night to share it with a circle of friends, to listen to other stories, and deepen connections. You are welcome to come just to listen as well.
