Dear Friends,

During difficult seasons, when we worry about our neighbors, ourselves, and our world, it can be helpful to gather in community. When we do, we can remind each other of our shared commitments, and of the God who holds us all and all that is, always. 

To that end, First Baptist Church will host a weekly Sacred Centering hour for sharing, silence, song, and prayer. We’ll meet in the Fireplace Room, just inside the Cowls Street doors. (On second Wednesdays we’ll be in Walker Hall, just inside the Washington Street entrance.) Come Wednesdays from 5-6pm, or for whatever time in that frame you can, and speak what’s on your heart, listen to your neighbors, light a candle, and breathe in hope.
