This summer we are excited to be partnering with Circlewood in an Earth Keeper Pilgrmage for our Service Learning Trip this year. We will spend time in the Circlewood Village, the surrounding 40 acre forest, and aroudn Camano Island, WA to discover more about and practice hands on earth keeping. We are thrilled about this opportunity to build our community, spend time getting to know and connecting with the earth, learn and serve with new friends, and further develop our heart’s as servants, individually and collectively. WHO: Current 5th-12th grade youth
WHEN: Sunday, July 27 – Friday, August 1
WHERE: Service/Learning with Circlewood in Camano Island, WA
Lodging/Meals/Activities at Warm Beach Camp & Conference Center in Stanwood, WA
HOW MUCH: $700 per participant
(group fundraising required, individual fundraising optional)
REGISTRATION
- Registration opens March 1, 2025; registration closes on May 31, 2025.
- Space is limited.
- Complete the REGISTRATION FORM and submit a $50 deposit.
COMMITMENT
- Youth and Parents/Caregivers attend ONE Informational Meeting
- March 2 from 4-5pm at First Presbyterian Church (prior to MYC Youth Group)
- March 4 from 6-7pm on Zoom
- Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser on Saturday, May 10
- Training Session on Saturday, June 7 (includes a meeting with parents/caregivers)
- Commissioning Service on Sunday, July 27
- Debrief Meeting and Celebration Gathering on Sunday, August 3
