The sights and sounds of the holidays are beginning to fill the air around us, and we rejoice in the good news about to be born. Even so, we recognize that this can be a difficult season for those who are mourning the loss of a loved one, navigating an unwelcome transition, or carrying painful memories – the joy of Christmas is often tinged with sadness.

To that end, we invite you to a Service of Remembrance, to be held Wednesday, December 16th, at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church. At this service we will be able to speak our grief, or honor it in silence, while we worship the God who is with us in all of life. Everyone is welcome.
