The Gould Piano Trio: violin, cello and piano plus guest clarinetist, Robert Plane. From their home base in England they perform worldwide-England to United States, Europe to South Aerica and New Zealand and Australia. Early in their career they won the Melbourne inaugural International Chamber Music Competition. They coach and teach at the Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Recently the Washington Post compared them to the Beaux Arts Trio (America’s finest trio) and praised their “Musical Fire” and dedication. The Manchester Guardian in describing Robert Plane, clarinetist, declared that he is “…making music of the highest caliber…” The group will be on tour of the US West.
