Living the Missions Vision

On September 8, 2013 our congregation affirmed the vision of First Baptist Church of McMinnville becoming a Matthew 25 Church.  We take to heart and are living out the scripture of Matthew 25:40 – “Whenever you did one of these things (an act of kindness, advocacy) to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me – you did it to me.”

The purpose of the Missions Ministry Team is to inform the congregation about the mission ministries supported by FBC.  We categorize our mission activity into these categories (click below for more info on each area):

Designation of Missions budget in the FBC Annual Operating Budget

Every year, the FBC Budget Team proposes a portion of the Annual Operating Budget that will fund Missions.  In a typical year, the amount of mission giving from congregation doubles (or more) the amount designed in the operating budget.
