Consider. Create. Celebrate.
Sundays, April 3, 10, 17 & 24
12:30-2:30 p.m. in the FBC Gathering Room
The earliest followers of Jesus told many stories about their experiences of him – stories about empty tombs and blossoming gardens, about nets full of fish and breakfast by the sea, about touching his wounds, or tasting the bread, or hearing him speak “peace.” They are sensory-laden stories about what that abundant life was like.
You are invited to spend time after Easter dwelling in those stories, and reflecting on them in a variety of ways: through sculpture, mural-painting, writing, and more. Join other FBC friends and teachers Wayne Beckwith, Marcy Berg, and Dave King to explore these stories through the arts. Each week, a leader will guide a project that people of all ages and abilities can participate in. Or, if you’re working on your own creations and would just like to share the space with others, feel free to bring your own supplies and ideas and set up a corner in the Gathering Room where you can work and share in the artistic energy!
Bring a lunch, and your willingness to listen, learn, and let the spirit of resurrection take shape through you!
